We are one of the leading hydraulic and pneumatic engineering companies in Southern Africa.

We specialise in the design and manufacture of two ranges of hydraulic cylinders under our own brand. We also manufacture our flagship range of small to large Martonair pneumatic cylinders, including one for which we hold a patent.

A significant portion of our production is dedicated to manufacturing cylinders to individual customers specifications.

We have the capability, equipment and skills to handle projects of any size.  We build products ranging from small one-cylinder pneumatic systems to PLC (programmable logic controlled) sheave wheel compensating hydraulic systems.

All systems are manufactured and factory acceptance tested at our Boksburg facility before being dispatched for installation and commissioning.

Every project at Ernest Lowe is managed by an Engineer from conception to final completion.  The scope of value-added services offered varies from project to project and includes on-site installation, start up and final commissioning of the project.
